Nynosk is a variant of written Norwegian spoken in Norway. Round about 10% of Norway uses Nynorsk as their written language.
The standard language was created by Ivar Aasen during the 1800s to provide a Norwegian alternative to the Danish language which was commonly written in Norway at the time. ★From: 1
