Introduction
Hindi is a language spoken in Northern India. It is a member of the Indo-European language family. Hindi is one of the most widely spoken languages with over 490 million speakers as a first language and 225 million as a second language. Hindi ranks number 4 as the most spoken language. Hindi is very similar to Urdu, but the two differences are is Hindi is written in Devanagari which is written from left to right, while Urdu is written in the Perso-Arabic script. The grammar of Hindi is very similar to Indo-European languages. Hindi follows a Subject-Object-Verb sentence structure. It is not a very difficult language to learn.
