Georgian, as well as other Caucasian languages, have a number of different cases for both location and relation between objects.
Nominative
- / -ი - / -i
In Georgian, the base form of a noun is in the nominative case. If this word ends in a vowel then it stays how it is, otherwise it adds an i (ი) onto the end.
